Opening Weekend Postseason Recap
The largest Wild Card weekend in the history of the NFL was epic. There were six games, and many of them were very competitive. How can you not love football? It’s impossible.
This weekend there will be four games with a doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday. However, before you place your wagers, you must understand what happened during Wild Card weekend.
Here is your recap from the first weekend of playoff football.
Las Vegas Raiders Lost to the Cincinnati Bengals
The Cincinnati Bengals have gotten the monkey off their back. The team had not won a playoff game since 1991, but that changed on Saturday thanks to Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase. These two came up big early, and the defense was able to seal the deal.
The Raiders nearly tied the game as the clock expired, but the Bengals held on for the win. Cincinnati held onto the cover as well for bettors, and the game stayed under as well. The total was set at 49 points, and the final score was 26-19.
Cincinnati Bengals travel to Nashville to face the Tennessee Titans for Round 2 of the postseason. Lets see if Derrick Henry coming back this weekend will help the Titans.
New England Patriots forgot to Show Up to Face the Buffalo Bills
Many people thought the Patriots would be competitive in the Wild Card game against the Bills. However, this did not end up being the case. New England dropped their second straight game against the Bills, and their season is now over.
The Bills won 47-17, so Josh Allen’s squad easily covered the spread. Buffalo was -4.5, which caused many bets to come in on New England. The Patriots were 9-2 on the road in Buffalo in their past 11, but this game officially revealed the AFC East does not belong to New England anymore.
Buffalo Bills travel to Kansas City this weekend to face the Chiefs. This will be a great game to watch this weekend.
